| i went to hollywood park casino off the 105 to try that ePoker
room...not bad here's the pros and con's i think it might be worth your
time....
well first here's how it works...it's mostly like playing online except
you have these touchpads at each seat...you cup your hand and touch the
screen which reveals the cards...after winning or losing a hand you
also have options of mucking..show both cards, show high card, show low
card....you need to make an account first thats set up with a pin and
your drivers license...now here's the pros/cons
1. it's fast...like maybe 60hph maybe more depending on table size...i saw lots of flops and lots of hands... 2.
this one might not matter much....but it's hygenic...shit touching a
million chips is dirty as hell...now all you have to do is touch a
computer screen.
3. heres the big one...they give 10 cents back per hand....thats
right...10 cents per hand...however this takes 24 hours to process so
usually the money is on your card the next day...so that does mean you
have to come back but if you plan to play consistently then it's worth
it...theoretically your profit margin increases that much more in a
full table...10 people = 10 hands = 1 free small blind at a 3-6
table... the implications of 10 cents rake back is huge...
4. jackpot is bigger than at a regular table.
5. you don't have to tip the dealer!!!! which means a bigger profit
margin...no tipping dealer plus a free small blind? it's crazy...
6. no misdeals. no errors...no arguments
cons...
1. not a lot of players...currently they have about 5 fully operational
tables...when i went i only saw 1 game being played...popularity might
go up but most people that played were there for experience of trying
something unique.
2. hands per hour rake back not so good when theres only 3-4 players at a table.
3. shoot walking around in hollywood park casino is about as bad as
crystal park casino...lots and lots of desparate people...after all the
gambling industry leaches off the lower bracket income of people (ask
me about my thoughts on this one later)
4. theoretically they could start compiling lots and lots of statistics
on players...it could be worth money...and it could also be abused...
5. sometimes the play is too fast...sometimes you win or lose so fast
you don't know what happened, fortunately theres a see last hand option
but still...sometimes it's fast...
for the most part...i think it's worth the time if they find more
players to play...definately the 10 cent per hand is awesome with a no
tipping dealer...you should definately try it out...you can actually
play even tighter because you're getting free money just to see
hands....anyways if you go just don't get shot...
on the other hand i think i'm going to stay away from the cards for a
while...i'm a bit put off by my lousy 2 months of play...and it's
starting to make me tilt...need to get back to basics, read some books,
re-analyze everything.

| school starts...another semester...another shot...

| grrrr....fricking school....i'm on academic probation cus of the last semester i took...so i can only take 12 units....1 of my classes needs to be petitioned because i dropped it twice...and my other class needs a prerequisite which i've taken at another CC but it's not recognized by the damn registration computer.....adsjaj;lkfads;fdljsdl and i dunno if i'm going to buy the 350z
